Tool Box

I have always believed that we should utilize all aspects of our abilities to give us the maximum opportunity to succeed. Drawing from my own experience of accessing various modalities to help overcome my physical and psychological adversaries, I have decided to continuously learn and grow through education. This commitment helps me to develop programs that don’t limit us, but rather assist in finding the right fit for you, as it did for me.

Movement Work

By bringing intention to our movements, we indeed affect how our brain processes and reacts to these activities. This focused approach can catalyze more significant changes not only in our physical capabilities but also in our mental and emotional states. The diversity of movement as a tool for exploration and personal adaptation is powerful. It's wonderful to consider how tailored movement plans can enhance one’s quality of life, fostering both physical health and psychological well-being. Working together to develop such plans can be incredibly beneficial, allowing each person to engage in a way that best suits their unique body and mind. Sometimes it could be as simple as choosing an activity and becoming part of a community which allows us to feel like we belong and gives us something to look forward: for me it was Dance!

Empowering Habits

Goal Setting + Identity + Values

Aligning goals with values not only makes our pursuits more meaningful but also ensures that they resonate deeply with our core beliefs, leading to more substantial satisfaction and fulfillment in all areas of life. Using introspective questions to guide this alignment is an effective way to clarify and reinforce your decision-making processes, both in personal and professional contexts.

1. Analyzing Time and Energy Allocation: Understanding how you currently spend your time and what consumes your energy can highlight discrepancies between your daily actions and your deeper values. This insight allows you to make informed adjustments that better align with what truly matters to you.

2. Exploring Passions: Identifying what you are genuinely passionate about can guide you in setting goals that not only motivate but also enrich your life. This could involve career choices, hobbies, or even volunteer activities that resonate with your personal values.

3. Prioritizing and Delegating: Deciding what needs more of your attention and what should be scaled back is crucial in managing your resources effectively. This step ensures that you devote more time to high-value activities that foster growth and satisfaction.

4. Addressing Gaps: Recognizing what's missing in your life gives you a clear direction for setting new goals. These could involve developing skills, nurturing relationships, or even enhancing your physical and mental health.

5. Goal Setting and Execution: Once you have a clear understanding of how your current lifestyle aligns with your values, setting specific, actionable goals becomes crucial. The process of following through on these goals then becomes a powerful instrument for change, driving both personal transformation and professional advancement.

By regularly revisiting these questions and adjusting your goals accordingly, you can maintain a dynamic alignment with your values, which is essential for continuous growth and fulfillment.

Neuro Visual

NLP Hypnotherapy Visualization

During my late 30s, I sustained a severe concussion that put me in bed for over six months. In searching for a solution to the constant pain, I was mostly handed pamphlets on pain management. I refused to accept this as my reality. Refusing to settle for this as being my new reality, I embarked on a journey exploring various modalities. I found success with Neuro Visual practices, which involved simple visual exercises that I followed and repeated daily. These exercises helped remind my mind and body of their original state. It took a grueling 11 months of these visual practices, but eventually, my pain decreased and my body returned to normal. Sometimes, we need to remind the brain and trick it into relearning what it already knows or developing new pathways to function.

Breath & Meditation
Work

Holding your nose for a couple of minutes can indeed highlight how fragile we are and the power of breath. It serves as a vital connection between life and the external world. From the moment we're born, our breathing patterns begin to deviate from their natural state, influenced by daily stresses that alter our habits. The impact of breathing extends to various aspects of health, including stress levels, ADHD, and sleep disorders.

Drawing from ancient practices that are now supported by scientific evidence, I develop personalized programs designed to foster healthier lifestyles. By focusing on improving breathing techniques, these programs aim to address and mitigate the impacts of modern-day stressors and enhance overall well-being.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is indeed one of the most accessible and rapidly growing practices today. It's a practice that can seamlessly integrate into any other modality or stand alone as its own discipline. The substantial evidence supporting mindfulness highlights its benefits: by simply bringing our attention to our actions and understanding the reasons behind them, we can discern which aspects of our lives are driven by compulsion versus choice. Engaging in activities with intention and attention not only enhances our ability to succeed but also helps us manage stress more effectively. It allows us to identify which habits are beneficial and which detract from our daily lives. Despite its simplicity, mindfulness is profoundly powerful and empowering, offering deep insights into our own behaviors and choices, making it a vital practice for personal growth and self-awareness.
